🏉 Ford C Max Central Locking Problems

Posts: Forumite. 14 June 2010 at 12:45PM. I have a similar problem in my ford focus, when locking using the central locking (fob+door) all doors will lock, and then immediately reopen. I have put this down to a knackered electric block in the drivers door (a blue block). Basically I have just unplugged this block until I get it fixed. I can only lock the drivers door with the key and the rest won't lock at all apart from the boot which only unlocks when i press the dedicated button on the key fob. Also the handbrake light on the dash is on permanantly. The electronic key has 3 buttons, Lock, unlock and Boot. What should the Boot button do? Until this week, the Unlock button unlocked the doors and the boot. This week, it only unlocks doors. The boot key unlocked the boot when pressed twice. I have change it yesterday and the new door (from a focus 2013) have no reaction to control ( remote lock) and even windows don't want to go down, and up, and Speakers also. I think the interior light is controlled from the door "closed/open" microswitch in the door lock assembly, and if the central locking thinks either of the front doors are open, then the car cannot be locked.
